Company history
Eagle Button Company
is New Jersey-based. It was established in 1926 and moved to its current
headquarters in 1969. Current management has been in place since 1950.
The company currently has two factories in New Jersey and sales offices
throughout the major apparel centers in the USA and Hong Kong.
In 1950 the Company
purchased Tho-Ro Products, Inc., a manufacturer of closures, elbow patches,
drawcords and buckles. Since that time Tho-Ro has been active as a wholly-owned
subsidiary of Eagle Button.
After completing
work for a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree with his
graduate thesis on the button industry, Arthur Simon joined his brother
Edward Simon at Eagle Button.
